Healthy feet in pursuit of the Swedish Championship gold – new partnership between DIF and BIOpH+
Djurgårdens IF Fotboll and BIOpH+ are launching a new partnership ahead of tomorrow’s Allsvenskan match, where DIF faces Degerfors. The aim is for BIOpH+’s medical technology products to support better foot health for the club’s players, and in turn boost their chances of winning the Swedish Championship gold.
Through this partnership, the Swedish medtech company also aims to raise public awareness of the importance of foot care. Many types of injuries and pain in the knees, hips, and back originate from foot problems. Even relatively minor foot issues, like calluses or cracked skin, impact the entire body. Good foot health is of course absolutely critical for football players, and the partnership means the players in both the women’s and men’s senior A-teams will have access to BIOpH+’s products.

A recently completed clinical study on BIOpH+ produced highly significant results for what is known as athlete’s foot, a condition covering fungal foot infections, calluses, cracked skin, dry feet, and foot odor. After just one week of treatment with the medical foot bath, participants with problematic feet reported a significant improvement in their quality of life.
