BIOpH Footcare wins Stockholm Beauty Week Award
When Stockholm Beauty Week kicked off at the Grand Hotel on Tuesday, November 22, the award for Best Foot Care Product 2022 went to the medical foot soak BIOpH Footcare. The product was recognized for its powerful effect against athlete’s foot, cracked skin, and calluses, its user-friendliness, and its gentle nature for both people and the environment. The product has been extremely popular among medical podiatrists for many years. Just over a year ago, the product rebranded from Biocool Footcare to BIOpH Footcare. The product is sold at clinics, pharmacies, Skincity, and bioph.com.
BIOpH presented the core principle behind its products, as well as the clinical studies that underpin its medical device products. BIOpH’s patented innovation is built around the skin’s unique ability to repair itself. When BIOpH’s granules come into contact with water, an oxygen surge is created, and damaged skin is treated with the active solution. This creates an environment on the skin that provides the optimal conditions for it to repair itself. The innovation has been applied to treating athlete’s foot with the award-winning BIOpH Footcare, as well as the newly launched products BIOpH Psoriasis medical bath and BIOpH Acne prone.
We are incredibly proud to win the Stockholm Beauty Week Award. All of our products are developed and manufactured in Sweden using a small selection of high-quality, proven-effective ingredients. We see this award as confirmation that our unique approach to treating skin is valued, which is an enormous source of joy for us, says Petra von Rohr, CEO of Biocool, the company that develops and manufactures BIOpH.
Our ambition is to give our visitors inspiration and greater knowledge of the very best in beauty and health. We are especially pleased to feature BIOpH this year, as they complement our range of offerings with medical device products backed by extensive research, says Maria Forssén.
Stockholm Beauty Week aims to showcase both Swedish and international products and services across beauty, health, body care, and skin care. This year marked the tenth consecutive edition of the fair, where around 60 exhibitors demonstrated their products and services. The day also featured a number of engaging, well-attended lectures. Interest in this year’s fair was extremely high, with over 80 exhibitors and more than 2,500 attendees throughout the day. Stockholm Beauty Week is led by visionary Maria Forssén and her team.

All products are proven effective, while remaining gentle to both people and the environment. A successful clinical study has been completed on athlete’s foot, meaning athlete’s foot, cracked skin, calluses, and dry feet. Efficacy studies involving hundreds of people show positive results for acne-prone skin. A clinical study on psoriasis symptoms was recently completed.
